Save Pet Rabbits in AUS

Do you have a Pet rabbit??
Are they de sexed?
If so I believe we should have the right to protect them against Myxomatosis.
De sexed rabbits pose no threat to increasing the number of wild rabbits and will not make them immune to the virus.
why a pet owner are we not entitled to protecting our (desexed) rabbits.
