Provide Property for A Day Center to Aid People Experiencing Homelessness

Several community organizations, churches, and funders have come together to provide a Day Center to aid people trying to escape homelessness. We urge the members of the Tahlequah City Council to join this group by providing the lease to Zoe Institute allowing them to use the property located at 309 South Muskogee as a resource for our community to meet this need.

Dear Tahlequah City Council Member:

As a constituent and someone concerned about issues of those who are experiencing homelessness and poverty in our community, I strongly urge you to support approval of the proposed lease which will be presented at the next Tahlequah City Council meeting for the city's property located at 309 South Muskogee.

Hopefully we all agree that the issue of homelessness in Tahlequah needs to be addressed in a way that will benefit not only those experiencing homelessness, but that of Tahlequah at large.

Please vote to approve the lease to Zoe Institute, Inc. so their work with other area agencies can provide support and aid to overcome homelessness to those in our community who are presently without a secure home.

Sincerely,
