The Harmon fire department needs to have a better way of collecting it's operating budget other than billing. Harmon fire department is one of the last departments in Illinois that is based on a "subscription" based income. A tax referendum would eliminate one bill from going to the residents home. It would not be any more than what the tax payers are paying now for their bill and would come right off their taxes.
