Demand a change of venue for the November Presidential election or close these schools for the day to protect our children!

This Presidential election is gearing up to be very emotional and volatile. The election polling locations are in Braelinn Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary and Rising Starr Middle School, during school hours. Due to the emotional nature of this election, security is a VERY HIGH concern. In addition, there is not ample parking to accommodate the crowds and there will need to be extra help to direct the traffic.
There is no other, (or very limited), choices for a public location to be a polling center. As a concerned parent or tax paying Fayette County resident, please make your voice heard requesting one of two things:
1)Consider another polling location not involving our schools.
2)Consider closing the schools involved on election day.
Our goal is to make sure the security of our children is not put at risk on election day.
