Logging in Wisconsin is destroying our Natural areas.

We may not have a degree in Ecology, but it doesn't take one, to see with our own eyes what kind of permanent damage the logging is doing to the site at Observatory Hill and other places in this State. There is no way to fix the damage that has already been done but maybe we can stop other areas from being destroyed by logging (select cut and clear cutting) The State of Wisconsin has misinformed the public and the media about the benefits of this logging. The only real benefit is financial and detrimental to the overall wildlife in what are supposed to be NATURAL (untouched areas). The Native Americans never burned the land here this is sacred land it has petroglyphs!! The State is selling the trees and then plan to make a trail to circle around the whole hill! What can I do? How do I stop this?! Please help!!! Please share!! Also there were articles in the Chicago Tribune trying to attract tourists here!!
Many animals have already been displaced and are looking for new homes. The machinery has now exposed the soil on Observatory Hill (in Marquette County Wisconsin) leaving it prone to landslides when it rains and also wind erosion of the rocks. Deep permenant tire tracks 4 inches deep where nothing but weeds will grow! Will they never learn!?! Why do they continue to do irreversible damage to the Earth?! Please sign although it may be too late maybe it will help others. Check out this article, this is how they make it seem okay, but its not! http://www.marquettecountytribune.com/pages/1-12.html

This was a great research/hiking area and people enjoyed it in its natural condition (which was designated as a State Natural area and intended to be left that way).  We are all asking the state of Wisconsin to stop logging in our state parks espeacially the ones that are designated at State Natural Areas. Observatory Hill and other areas were areas that John Muir (The most famous naturalist/botanist/geologist was born and raised here) held close to his heart. He fought this same fight to advocate for the preservation of wilderness even in the early 1900's!  A man ahead of his time and a man that we celebrate here. The logging here is wrong and it needs to be stop now.
