Urge Australia's Premiers to stand up to Coca-Cola's bullying tactics.

Coke's opposition to a container deposit scheme allows this littering to continue while they claim to care for the environment. They are running a smear campaign to try and defeat a common-sense recycling scheme in Australia. Not just that, but taking federal governments who have implemented this scheme to court. COCA-Cola Amatil has won the right to dismantle a Northern Territory recycling scheme.

The idea behind "Cash for Containers" is simple: buy a beverage, return the container, and get 10 cents refund. It's worked in South Australia for decades, where recycling rates are the highest in the country. But Coke is working around the clock to defeat the scheme.

Why have Coca-Cola resorted to bullying the good guys? For that ten cents! They are upset they have to refund ten cents for every bottle returned, thus increasing their retail prices by ten cents.

Sign this petition to Australia's Premiers, and tell them to stand up to Coke and implement a Cash For Containers recycling scheme

Lets get behind Australia’s Premiers and show them that we have their backs. It is the will of all Australians to keep Australia clean. Coca-Cola must be more accountable. With our support, the Premiers can stand up to Coke's intimidation.
