Bring back DanceSafe to Electric Forest

Recrational drug use is bound to take place at music concerts and festivals. No matter what measures security takes to prevent people from brining illegal substances to an event, they will still find a way to sneak them in. Telling them "no" is not enough. If anything it enables users and gives them more temptation.

DanceSafe is a non-profit organization that has been around since '98. There goal has been to educate attendees about drugs and had reduction. They do not condone or condemn drug use. But they do an excellent job at providing information on substances on how to prevent going to the ER or the morgue.

In 2015 at Electric Forest the organizers told them to pack up and leave citing a contract breach due to the RAVE ACT. To this day they are still at other festivals. Without harm reduction education at events like Electric Forest, attendees who choose to take controlled substances without knowing whats in them or knowledge about what they're taking are vulnerable to health risks. It is imperative that Electric Forest provides some sort of harm reduction, especially for the young attendees who are going to this fest for their first time as well as taking controlled substances for their first time. If you believe that harm reduction should be available at EF, please sign this petition.
