To help fight against excessive force, racial profiling and inhumane treatment used by faculty and their guards. This is happening excessively in state prisons and correctional facilities. This has happen to my brother Dennis Browning at Gouveneur Correctional Facility in Ny State, where excessive force, racial slurs and discrimination take place without families being aware. Inmates are frightened to speak out in fear of their lives because they are being gang assaulted by officers. There are at least 4 out of 5 families that have had this experience with an incarcerated loved one. We can not continue to allow our loved one to be abused because they are prisoners, or a minority. Prisoners are people too. We have to be the voices for the inmates.

On Aug 13, 2015, my brother Dennis Browning (Ball) was gang assaulted by correctional officers at Gouveneur Correctional Facility in Gouveneur Ny., he was then beaten for 3 hours in a secluded room, that he had never been to in the jail. My brother states at that time multiple correctional officers came in and began to physically assault him while seated and handcuff...ed. At this time they began to use racial slurs calling him a big black *****, because he was with standing the beating, they went to get ".........", (I'm guessing the one to leave damage because they couldn't),saying oh you is a big strong black *****, my brother states at this time he sees in total of 9 officers in the room. At this time officER ..... hits my brother in the head with his walkie talking. The others began kicking and punching him while he was down. He states then Mr. ....... grabs his adams' apple as if he was trying to dislocated it. My brother in this moment said he was trying to let them know he couldn't breathe. He states that he had guards sitting on his limbs, trying to break his legs and bite him, while the others were kicking him in his face and back. The officers then told him to sign stat nothing happened when ask and he wouldn't so my brother took a beating for three hours. After the damage all 9 were doing he agreed to not allow them to kill him or put him close to death. When he was first admitted(8/14//15) in to the infirmary the nurse asked what happen to him, he replied for her to ask the guards that stood before them. At this time the nurse leaves and they continue to beat him again, for implying they beat him. Then contact was made by several individuals to inform us, his family that something had taken place with the Correctional officers beating my brother. He continues to tell my mother and family member, how officer .....taunted him by stating he's lucky he didn't put him in a wheel chair. on Aug 15, 2015 , My brother was still able to receive his visit, at this time my mom and another relative took notice to the bodily damage under his clothes.Things that cannot be seen through visit photos but, luckily somehow by the grace of god they slipped and allowed my brother to take photos with the face damage that is visible. My brother repeatedly said to my mom in the visit they was trying to kill him. He said the culprit for the beating to persist was solely Officer ....., he also went to say how they removed there badge names to not be identified. My mother says that during the visit he still was holding his head high and dealing with the beating. My brother says that he never got beat this hard in his LIFE, not even with the fights along his path. In this process we have been seeking help from our communities and the public to let it be known it is happening right at HOME #BLACKLIVESMATTER and we are seeking help if anyone can or know of someone who can help. Daily we having been contacting the facility regarding his wellness, since we had knowledge of the incident. When we were calling we would ask for guidance and speak to Ms. Hall and a woman name Terri. Ms Hall, corresponds with the inmates to check the wellness of inmates, and she was stating that my brother said he was Ok. Come to find out we were being misinformed with the information given, as of today 8/19/2015, My mother received a letter from my brother stating they have beaten him again, the day after his visit (8/16/15). My brother writes that there were it more correctional officers than the last incident on Thursday. He said they began to assault him again all wearing white t shirts. He said none of them had on their uniform shirts to not be identified. He writes he feel he maybe paralyzed from them jumping up and down on his back from this second assault that happen Sunday/earlier Monday morning. He feels they are trying to kill him. Now it feels like my brother is being beat for the efforts of us seeking help regarding their facility officers. We have contacyed the governor, inspector general etc need community and medias help. The fear for his life with these racial guards is at an all time high, lets not wait till its too late to say HIS LIFE MATTER "say his name DENNIS!!!!!!! #MYBROTHERMATTERS #alllivematter ************************************Please if anyone can help inbox Info
