Football has for too long been left in the hands of an administration which cares not for the image of the game. Constant accusations of corruption and mal-administration have led to a total breakdown in confidence in FIFA. IT IS NOW TIME TO ACT and to urge the sponsors of major events to ensure that there is regime change at the very top in FIFA. only by this means can the reputation of Football and those sponsoring events be protected.

Barely a week goes by without some media news concerning FIFA and, usually, the concerns regarding how decisions are taken and our beautiful game is managed. With such continuing controversies in any other form of life, business, or politics those responsible for directing the organisation would expect to leave office and, if honourable, tender their resignations. Yet at FIFA it is as if nothing has happened! The management at FIFA obviously care nothing for the well being of the game.
As elections are near perhaps those providing the financial support beloved by FIFA might be encouraged to use their influence to restore the image of Football and its governing body by requesting change at the very top? After all football supporters are consumers too and there are many millions of us! Coca Cola, as a major sponsor have such influence and we must ask them to use that influence for the good of our game.
