Sport Hunting- NO deadly weapons - ONLY Tranquilizer Guns Used

All African countries that are home to the Big 5 to only allow "Green Hunting" for endangered species.

PROBLEM:
I fear we may not be able to ban trophy, sport, of Big Game hunting in time to save entire species. Why? Local and international politics, greed, corruption,  economic dependency on the blood money. All short-term thinking that can result in extinction of endangered species.

SOLUTION:"GREEN HUNTING" We can create a win-win for both hunters and animals.

Hunters can still enjoy the "sport" of hunting, but without the senseless killing of animals being slaughtered. Conservation efforts can also be increased at the same time by allowing hunters shoot animals ONLY with tranquilizer guns and darts, and then to be tagged with GPS collars, mico chips etc to help protect them. The hunter's "trophy" photo can still be taken while the animal is sedated, and there is no killing of wildlife, as the animal is left alive. Plus a registered veternarian  can inspect the health of animal while it is sedated, as well as administer the anti-dote and is responsible for tranquilizer dosage.No animal should be darted more than twice a year and preferably only once, to minimise stress. Animal that  has been darted must be watched for 3 days afterwards to ensure it does not fall prey to an accident, illness or is poached

This also still supports both the ecotourism and economic activities of this nature in Africa and other countries, which rely on the income of hunting and tourists to see aniamls. We just want hunting done ethically and to actually work to protect animals instread of harming them. Moreover, some of the proceeds hopefully also could be able to be donated to local villages, conservation efforts for wildlife habitat, anti-poaching groups, and protection of endangered species.

This method would also help deter and diminish illegal animal trade by not having animals slaughtered for their skins or body parts.Illegal hunters and poachers would also be more easily identifiable by their deadly weapons and firearms, as they would be shooting to kill versus sedate.

By banning sport hunting of  endangered species of using deadly guns, and replacing it by having tranquilizer guns and darts used to serve the purpose to perseve life, mankind can act ethically and responsibly in the stewardship of animals and the planet to save endangered species and help conservation efforts at the same time.
