Mandatory Spay/Neuter San Antonio, TX

Thousands of dogs are being senselessly killed at our city shelters every year because of overcrowding. The large numbers of unwanted animals in shelters is mostly due to irresponsible pet owners allowing their dogs and cats to reproduce.

There are several rescues who pull death row dogs from ACS, but they are beyond full and extremely overwhelmed. If all residents spay or neuter their dogs and cats, the number of stray, dumped, or surrendered animals will be significantly reduced.

There is a law currently in place requiring animals to be spayed or neutered, but it is not enforced. We need to end the suffering and focus on the animals that are already here instead allowing the problem to continue.

Please sign this petition asking the city of San Antonio to offer free spay/neuter for ALL residents for no less than one year.
