Transient killer whales a new species?

Killer whale researchers want transient killer whales to be called Bigg's killer whales. They want them to be declared a new species! Nonsense! The words "transient" and "resident" are used to identify killer whales. Transient killer whales eat mostly marine mammals, and resident killer whales eat mainly fish.
