An immigrant from Italy, Bart started a new business venture with his brother in Port Richmond at 786 Port Richmond Avenue, later moving to their current location at 750 Port Richmond Avenue. * 40 years later Bartolomeo and Phillip Giove are still making pizza for the Port Richmond Community and the North Shore. * They have employed hundreds of workers from the Port Richmond Community throughout the years and contributed to many in need, and to organizations in the community. * This establishment is a pillar of the community and a welcoming banner as you enter Port Richmond. * We as a community must not forget Bart's service to Port Richmond and the sacrifices he made for his family to make a product that many have enjoyed for years. * We are asking Councilperson Debi Rose to submit a formal request.
