While we listen to the talking heads bloviating about funding the federal government, our media seems to totally ignore the problems in Japan. The atmosphere around that leaking plant is so toxic that should a person enter the area without proper protective gear, they would be dead in less than four hours. The stuff is still leaking. Tepco and the Japanese government are busy dickering about the cost of containment. Meanwhile, this toxic, radioactive goo is still leaking into the ocean. This is our planet. Our only planet. I am in favor of an invasion if necessary to get this cleaned up. All nations, all peoples should be concerned about this and start working on it yesterday!
