Parents of a deceased child should have the same rights as the widow or widower

This could happen to you Please help me make a change with the law my beautiful son passed away in 2011 in his sleep as parents we have found it very difficult to be able to get to see documents about my son because we are not classed as next of kin my son was married 7 months he was 29 and had no children.
This really is about the Principle of the matter and for parents to have more say.
Even though my son’s widow has moved on I still can’t get to see information or documents about my son without contacting her and getting signed permission as a mother and father we find this very difficult to understand why we have to ask for permission. Surely being our sons parents all of his life we should not have to ask.
For Example: medical records and insurance policy which I was named on 100% I am told if there is No will regardless if you as a parent are named on documents they are automatically passed on to the widow or widower. My Sons wishes were not carried out
If you feel and know you were named on certain documents which I did and there is No will that you should be contacted about this by the insurance company’s and informed you are named then please sign my petition and help me change the law.
After four years I have gone through all the right channels it took me two and half years to get one document which I was named on please don’t let this happen to you. Make a change today by supporting my petition make it law that you are contacted because if you have not been told by your loved one you are name on a document you may never get to see it.
As a deceased Childs parent we should have the same rights as a widow or widower it’s so important that you still feel apart of your child even after death no parent should lose a child.
Help me to Make it law that you have the same rights no one should be able to do as they wish with documents you are named on and not tell you.

I would like the law to be changed so parents of a deceased child receives the same rights to see any documents they wishes about their child after death who they have brought up all of there life and to be able not to have to ask the widows permission every time they wish to get hold of documentation about there child.
My sons wishes were not carried out 100% beneficiary it took me two and half years to get one document I was told I was not named. My son was just 29 years old and only married for 7 months with no children.
