I am a small family here in the Kelowna area with two children of the ages 11 and 16. Both of my boys at one point in the last few years have had bullies physically hurt them. And bully them for there own reasons. My youngest son that is 11 years old who goes to Rutland Middle School here in Kelowna is getting bullied by five different people at this very moment. My son of 11 years old is contemplating on switching schools in the middle of the year and as you know at this age children are very unforgiving and that creates a whole other situation that could get him bullied. I have spoke with the schools I have spoke with teachers and counselors. And nothing ever gets done. I need to bring awareness to the other parents and to the other people in this community and in Kelowna to stop this violence and to stop the bullying. There is many situations online that have been brought to my attention of suicide from this topic. But it has really opened my eyes that it is bigger than just a few students here in our community. I am offering my time to rally together a giant group of people in our community to speak loud about the situation and to not only stop the violence and the bullying of our children but possibly save a life
