Luckily a passerby rescued the animal to bring it for medical care. As it turns out, this poor dog escaped from its yard in Chicopee, Massachusetts and ended up in the hands of a cruel person who, instead of returning it tried to kill it!
After news was broadcast of a dog thrown from a moving vehicle, the pet's owner recognized him as Parker, her little Schnauzer that got out of the yard of her cousin's accidentally. Ms. Lydia Martine was visiting there with her dog who was let outside for a short while, escaping under the fence. “He’s little and he just ran. I think he was scared,” she explained. After looking for hours, she went home, but Martinez says she was devastated to learn that ‘Parker’ had not only been thrown from a car, described by witnesses as a black 4-door Nissan Maxima, but also run over. “You could put him back where you got him if you didn’t want him. If they were going to take him and treat him better, not throw him out of a window….not run him over."
Ms. Martinez was devastated that someone could do this to her dog, Parker. She just had him for a couple of weeks before the incident and was saving up money to get him to the vet and up-to-date with vaccinations. Then this happened. Now she is trying to raise money to pay for his treatment and surgery from the injuries sustained after the abuse. In the meantime, Parker is eating and resting comfortably on pain medication at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center in Springfield.
Someone needs to come forth with information and tips that can lead to an arrest of the person who threw this precious animal out of the car window and then ran it over with the same vehicle which appeared to be a black 4-door Nissan Maxima. Let us gain justice for Parker, find and prosecute the abuser who harmed poor Parker.

Massachusetts MSPCA, Chicopee and Springfield Law Enforcement -Please continue your investigation to find the abuser of Parker who was tossed out of a moving car and then run over by same in an attempt to kill the dog. Check out all leads including those about the driver of a black 4-door Nissan Maxima so that you can prosecute the person(s) responsible for this animal abuse and cruelty. The perpetrators need to be punished severely before they can harm more animals in the same manner and be a threat to humans as well!
