Demand Great Crossing High School Open in Fall 2017....No Delays!!

At the 22 Oct 2015 Scoot County School Board meeting Stephanie Powers, Haley Conway and Kevin Kidwell out voted Jennifer Holbert and Jo Anna Fryman to delay the Great Crossings High School. This second high school is desperately needed to address the overcrowding problem in the rapidly growing community of Georgetown, Kentucky. The plans for this high school were approved unanimously at a broad meeting earlier this year, however this faction of three want to delay the start of construction until after the current superintendent retires at the end of the school. Unfortunately this is just another piece of evidence proving that the faction of Conway, Powers, and Kidwell have a personal score to settle with the current superintendent. This personal conflict will cost the taxpayers of Scott County potentially millions. Worse, it is counterproductive to the students of Scott County. Send a clear message to the board! Build Great Crossing now! Open it as scheduled in Fall 2017!!
