We are what we eat! Label GMOs!!!

We all deserve the right to know what we are eating. GMOs (genetically modified organisms) have been added to just about everything we consume. Although there isn't a lot of research, GMOs have been linked to birth defects and gluten disorders that impact over 18 millions Americans. The American USDA refuses to label the foods that contain GMOs for unknown reasons. Although over 50 other countries, including Russia, China, Japan etc. have a ban on GMOs, America refuses to recognize this as a problem.
Why I don’t support the use of GMOs-For fear I would help create a new species based off of the food I consume. I believe its important to watch what I consume for the health of an unborn child and even as they grow. GMOs are not natural or nutritional, and trust me, I love cookies and a variety of other snacks just as much as the next person, but I value my health a lot more than a cookie. If you do your research you'll discover that almost everything we eat comes from animals, vegetables, beans, or sea creatures, which are the most commonly used vessels for the consumption of GMOs.
Lastly, I don’t agree with the mentality of GMO companies who view their job as a way to feed a large amount of people at a reduced cost. Yes, that may seem convenient but it doesn’t factor the health risks associated with it. It may not seem like a big deal now but, in my opinion, GMOs may contribute to an evolutionary change in the human race. Will we continue to feed corporate America at the risk of our own health? below are links listed if you would like to look more into the impact GMOs have and what they contain.
