Demand Oconomowoc Cancel Massive Goose Roundup

The Oconomowoc Lake Village Administration has decided to conduct a goose roundup in which a massive number of geese will be trapped and killed. Village of Oconomowoc residents are unhappy about the goose droppings and claim they are a nuisance. "People are just getting tired of their property getting crapped up."
The Village of Oconomowoc is planning to hire a team from the U.S. Department of Agriculture next month, June 2017, to conduct this roundup and mass killing.
Geese have just as much a right to live as anything or anyone else, and should not be killed just because of their droppings.
The Village of Ocononomowoc should organize a clean up program so that the droppings can be disposed of and the geese can still live happily.
The Village of Oconomowoc could also relocate the geese to the nearby Horicon Marsh, a national wildlife refuge.

We urge the Village of Oconomowoc Administration to reconsider their plan to hire the U.S. Department of Agriculture in June 2017 to roundup and kill the geese around Oconomowoc Lake.  These geese should not be killed just because some residents don't like the goose droppings. There are many other ways the goose dropping problem can be dealt with that don't result in death.
