Ask Governor Jerry Brown to deny parole to Charles Manson follower/killer Leslie Van Houton
Van Houten was 19 when she participated in the murders of Rosemary and Leno La Bianca, a supermarket executive. Before the panel, Van Houten recounted how she held Rosemary down with a pillow and lamp cord as Charles “Tex” Watson, another Manson member, stabbed her. Then he passed the knife to her, and Van Houten proceeded to stab Rosemary 14 times, later using the blood of the slain La Biancas to write messages on the walls of their home. The word “WAR” was carved on Leno La Bianca’s stomach.
Cory La Bianca, Leno and Rosemary La Bianca’s daughter, will urge Gov. Jerry Brown (D) to deny Van Houten’s parole — as he did that of Bruce Davis, another killer affiliated with Manson, in 2014.
Tell Governor Brown that Leslie Van Houten deserves to die in prison.
Dear Governor Brown,
Please do not be persuaded with the argument that Leslie Van Houten is a changed woman and therefore, deserves her freedom.
She has already had her sentence of death reduced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. Her victims are long dead and their families have had to live with this loss and the memory of their brutal murders.
Leslie Van Houten should never be released from prison. She will always be a threat to society.
Thank you for denying this undeserved parole request.

Debra Tate delivered her Change.org petition to Governor Jerry Brown today with nearly 140,000 signatures. He has until 9/11/16 to make a decision. Care 2 claims to have nearly 36,000,000 members and only 217 have signed this petition. How sad that people at this website have more sympathy for a cold blooded killer than the families of the victims. I will leave this petition open until Governor Brown decides the fate of killer Leslie Van Houten.
