I have just signed a petition on Lady Freethinker about needy animals at Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo in Thailand. Photos have surfaced of a malnourished elephant (taken by a concerned guest). The elephant has a skeletal appearance. Her ribs protude and her skin is saggy. The animals are deliberately kept underweight so that they can perform tricks for human entertainment and profit. Other animals, including crocodiles, may also be suffering at Sumatprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo. Any crocodiles farmed, kept and/or otherwise existing here may also be slaughtered brutally and cruelly for their skins and/or their meat.
Please, please do all that you can (ethically) to help save these poor animals.
