Make Liberty Tech Charter School a Reality!

Isn't it amazing that we have so many options in America? We have choices in every aspect of our lives except our children's education. Instead, our post office address is supposed to be the best indicator of how our children should be educated. Fayette County schools are some of the best in Georgia and yet over 3000 children opt for private schools or homeschooling, usually at great sacrifices for their families. Obviously, children are not round pegs that fit in round holes; even Fayette county schools do not work for everyone.

Enter Liberty Tech. We believe that you should have a choice for your child.

  • We believe that children perform better in a smaller, nurturing environment.

  • We believe that all children benefit from a rigorous Classical education steeped in STEM.

  • We believe that by encouraging virtue, social skills, and physical fitness, we can help them reach their academic potential to be wise global leaders.

  • We believe that all children WILL learn and succeed, if given the time.

  • We believe that learning should be engaging, hands-on, and relevant to the world around them.

  • We believe that children are naturally inquisitive and can love learning.

  • We believe that all children must be prepared for a future that includes higher education.

Can you imagine a school like that? We can, and as we go through the petition process we would love to have your support. Please "like" our Facebook page and check out our website at www.libertytechcharter.org to keep abreast of Liberty Tech developments. And remember: we only need a little Liberty to change education.

Update #28 years ago

Final approval for the 2016-17 school year is expected in August. We will keep you posted of any future developments!
Update #19 years ago
The FCBOE will vote to accept or deny Liberty Tech Charter School's application this coming Monday, July 28th, at 7pm in a called meeting, 210 Stonewall Ave. It is imperative that as many of you as possible attend, so that our support becomes a physical presence that fills the room. Even if a charter school is not the right fit for your family, please consider supporting our choice to have this option in Fayette County. WEAR RED to support Liberty Tech. Thank you!
