We demand that the Prime RS Aleksandar Vucic instruct the relevant institutions launch checks of all kennels and breeders, first registered kennels that have met the "Regulation on conditions that must be met kennel for animals", also to include all of the Organizations for Protection of Animals, to check and examine anonymous "kennels". We demand that the law be amended or change a decision requiring the rightful owners to sterilize their pets and to introduce a tax on growers. Only whit these methods we can stop the illegal reproduction of dogs, cats and stop the creation of stray dogs and cats.

Why You’ll Buy From Puppy Farms and Puppy Mills Without Knowing

I’ve been alarmed by a growing number of reports on puppy farms (puppy mills) and large-scale commercial dog breeding.

Puppy farming is rife. The internet is a wonderful, anonymous tool for puppy farms and puppy mills to hide their horrors behind glossy, cute pictures.

If you are thinking of buying a puppy, this is vital information. Please read it.

If you’re a dog lover, please share it.

Examination during 2014 statistics says::

one fifth of puppy owners bought from ‘unsafe’ sources – internet sites, pet shops and newspaper ads

  • 37% of owners had never seen the puppy with its mother
  • 40% of owners had never seen where the puppy was bred
  • 35% of people had puppies delivered by mail order
  • 31% picked up a puppy from locations like motorway service stations
  • owners of ‘designer cross breeds’ were the most at risk from rogue dog breeders, and the least likely to have seen the puppy in its ‘home’ environment

Buying a puppy online means that buyers have no idea of the often appalling conditions the puppies were born into. Sadly, these puppies often grow up with health and behavioural problems which can cost hundreds of euros to treat or which lead to heartbreak if the problems cannot be overcome – SR Kennel Club

ALL the puppies that cost only a few tens of euros (50 to 200 eu) were born in illegal kennels with unscrupulous owner - breeders.

Consider carefully in order to get a healthy puppy from legal kennel, this puppy has to have received two vaccines against infectious diseases, puppy must regularly wormed fye times, chipped and be vaccinated against rabies, that expenditure is around 35 eu. To make it all this it must pass a minimum of 3 months, for these 3 months 1 puppy that will be of medium size must eat about 20 eu food minimum for these three months, which means that for each puppy must outlay for 3 months to be spend around 50-60 EU minimum. Puppies that are sold after 45 days of theisr age did not acquire sufficient immunity, not get all the necessary vaccines, not to mention that legally not mature enough to sell-it, this puppies comes from illegal breedres and kennels.

In the SR, Wales is a hotspot for puppy farms. Every year, we buy thousands of puppies from puppy farms without knowing.

Multiply that by all the other countries in the world and you can see why you should be worried. However, you can force puppy farms out of business by being a lot more savvy about how you choose your dog.

The number 1 tip for avoiding puppy farmers is:

If you can’t see the puppy with its mother, brothers and sisters, and you can’t see the conditions it was bred in, don’t buy it.

I’d also say that if you are a first time dog owner, don’t get a dog from a free ad, or a ‘free to good home’ ad either.

You want to choose a dog that’s happy, healthy and everything you could desire. There’s more on this and spotting puppy farms in a free e-course I’ve put together. Get started today with your free e-course on choosing a dog.
