Prairie View Apartments and Centennial Park Apartments have a horrible infestation problem.
Pests that are causing a nuisance are stated as the following:
1- Bed Bugs
2- Cockroaches

Low income housing shouldn't have to feel like low income housing! There are tenants of prairie view apartments that are covered in bedbug bites and a majority of the residents are children ranging from days old to teenagers as well as adults. There are several maintenance requests that have been made about the pest issues but the managment team is just going about the problems as they usually would which is pest contol sprays 3 months on 1 month off and is a "set in stone schedule" and "will not change" according to management. We feel that this issue is getting worse and something needs to happen for the sake of our living environment and our health!

Possible solution:
Tho costly, the best treatment for bed bugs is high heat. We feel that with extreme infestations there needs to be an extreme concern and extreme outcome on extermination! Not the usual pest control. That is to control NOT treat and exterminate an infestation!

The Cockroaches LOVE dirty and thrive for their food in a dirty household, therefor if the problem tenants are being ignored, the problem will not be resolved and the problem WILL spread and the tenants that are keeping up on household chores and lease requirements are getting the raw end of the deal because the infestation is spreading.
