Help convict Quebec fur farm owner for horrific animal abuse

About two months ago, we signed a petition calling for removal of neglected and abused animals at a fur farm in Ste-Jude, Quebec, Canada. The owner, Jean-Luc Rodier, was a convicted abuser already, but Quebec government - and specifically, Quebec's Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks - refused to remove the animals claiming they were 'monitoring' the situation using inspector visits. Now, the owner, Jean-Luc Rodier, has been charged with 6 counts of animal cruelty and faces potential "up to 18 months in prison and $10,000 in fines for each count, as well as a lifetime ban on having an animal in his custody or under his control" (link: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/jean-luc-rodier-quebec-fur-farm-owner-charged-with-6-counts-of-animal-cruelty-1.2829726)

The crucial word here is 'potential.' We started this petition to make sure it really happens: jail time, fines, AND (very importnat) a lifetime ban on ever having animals in his custody for Jean-Luc Rodier, the lifetime offender and animal abuser. Please sign this petition asap so it can be delivered with as many signatures as possible to Quebec government. So far the government did little to help abused animals. If we win this one, it may change the situation for good. It will send a message to all current and potential animal abusers, and not just at fur farms.

Thank you very much for your compassion.
