Let Autistic Girl Keep Her Dog!

Charlie, a Jack Russell/Patterdale terrier mix, is being held at a Liverpool pound after he chased another dog and went missing during a walk in Everton Park. Wayne Johnson was walking the dog at the time, but the pet also belongs to his 13-year-old autistic daughter, Jessica.

The pound is demanding 100 pounds (about 168 dollars) to return Charlie to his family. Johnson, who is on Employment Support Allowance, does not have the money and only managed to raise 50 pounds.

Considering Johnson's situation and the dog's role in comforting and helping his autistic daughter, the pound should make a special case and let him have the dog back for 50 pounds. He made an effort to find the dog and raise the money, and holding the dog longer would drain the city's resources and devastate the dog and his family. Please sign the petition to let Jessica and her father keep their dog!

As you know, Charlie, a Jack Russell/Patterdale terrier mix, is being held at a Liverpool pound after he chased another dog and went missing during a walk in Everton Park. Wayne Johnson was walking the dog at the time, but the pet also belongs to his 13-year-old autistic daughter, Jessica.

We understand that the pound is demanding 100 pounds (about 168 dollars) to return Charlie to his family. Johnson, who is on Employment Support Allowance, does not have the money and only managed to raise 50 pounds.

Considering Johnson's situation and the dog's role in comforting and helping his autistic daughter, we believe it would be fair to make this a special case and let Johnson have the dog back for 50 pounds. He made an effort to find the dog and raise the money, and holding the dog longer would drain the city's resources and devastate the dog and his family. We respectfully urge you to let Charlie return to the Johnson family. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider our petition.
