DEMAND ON FREEING CAPTURE ORCAS AND OTHER WILD ANIMALS

  • by: Ann Han
  • recipient: United Nations

After successfully asking the Sochi Olympics not to displayed the two captived orcas, it is known that Sochi has a dolphinarium, where seven captived orcas are to live there. Apart from Sochi, wild animals had also been sent to China frequently and there are at least one orca being held in a small pen in Mexico. There are also activities where wild animals are massively caught and slaugther. For example, Japan caught a lot of dolphin and other wild animals in the sea just to make sushi and sashimi. Also, Japan, Iceland and Norway catch whales just for commercial use. If this situation carries on, there'll soon be lots and lots of animals becoming extinct!

It takes a lot of people to make a change. By signing this petition, you are going to ask the United Nation to set down the rules on hunting wild animals. Not only that, you are also going to protect these animals from being hunted down by people all over the world.
