Make California a country!

The United States is in decline with Donald Trump. Trump is a racist, sexist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, homophobic, anti-immigrant, con artist, bully, and sexual predator president, unlike any other US president before. California is in the process of independence due to Trump. I cannot stand Trump as president either.

The American dream is dying, especially with Trump. The US used to be the envy of the world and a place of opportunity, but Trump is making it harder. Donald Trump is dictator-behaving and it can be seen in how he has called the media fake news and fired people who disagree with him. Is fascism coming to America, or is it already here?

California can reasonably become a country of its own. Reasons for it are numerous. Donald Trump is dividing the United States like no other president in US history before. California grows so much food. California has a lot of companies and institutions from it. California is the land of the free, of opportunity, and of all created equal more than the United States as a whole is. Since the late 1990s, California's economy has grown more than the entire US economy. California welcomes immigrants easily. California's electoral votes have not counted in US presidential elections since 1876. California values interfere with American values. California's economy is the world's sixth largest.

Truly California has been the land of opportunity, equality and freedom than the rest of the United States. California banned slavery in 1850 when it became a US state but took until 1865 for it to materialize in the United States. Women's suffrage in California came in 1911 but not until 1920 in the United States. Interracial marriages were legalized in 1948 in California but not until 1967 in the United States. Same-sex marriage became legal in California in 2008 though that same year it was banned, but then the 2008 ban was repealed in 2013, yet not until 2015 did the whole United States have same-sex marriage legalized. California's economy has grown more than the US economy as a whole since the late 1990s or so. California has welcomed immigrants easily. During the Dust Bowl years in the 1930s, California welcomed many people from the central United States where the Dust Bowl took place then. Because of all this opportunity, equality, and freedom in California, it is home to people from all over the world.

California deserves to be a country also due to its economy, food grown in it, agriculture, beauty, innovations, technologies, tourism, diversity, opportunities, freedoms, and competitiveness. These are reasons California should have become a country long ago.

The United States under Trump is divided in an extent for the first time it's been so divided since the American Civil War.

In California country, we can have it be a fifth era for California, after the indigenous, Spanish, Mexican, and American eras were previously.

"Calexit" is the name of the California independence movement. In November 2018 we can vote to see if we want the independence referendum in March 2019. Let's vote majority in favor of the referendum, and in the March 2019 referendum, a majority vote in favor of California independence. Then California can officially become a country.

The 2012 United States presidential election results showed hundreds of thousands of signatures from all 50 US states demanding each state leave the United States for good. That is yet another reason to support California independence.

We have until 2019 to get this dream come true for establishing the yes for a California country. The links for the information of California independence are www.calexit2016.com, www.YesCalifornia.org, and https://californianational.party/en_US.

Dear fellow Californians, let's get enough signatures for California independence. America is so divided nowadays. California can do good as its own country.
