A retail marijuana facility has been proposed at 21280 Tumalo Place. The majority of the area is rural residential or agriculture with some construction. In addition, there is a Christian School within very close proximity.
The marijuana retail facility is plainly not compatible with the surrounding community. It will create an unsafe and inappropriate environment for the surrounding community.
This pentition is for the purpose of blocking the facility from moving forward with the Deschutes County conditional use permit process.
