Young bands in Bristol are finding it hard to start out as they can't afford decent rehearsal spaces that they can use for an adequate amount of time to get what they need done, we want to change this by getting enough people to join and show the council that we don't want the Bristol music scene to die out as young bands can't pay for recording or rehearsal rooms with enough time to rehearse and write original material.
In Chippenham, just 20 miles from here, they allow bands to practice and record for free allowing them to get the best from their local musicians, so why can't Bristol join in with this, using community centres or old buildings Bristol's music scene could thrive and see a lot more young bands and artists enter the scene with a good chance.
So please show you support and sign this. We don't want our scene to die out.
