Martha Raddatz proved just how invaluable the role of debate moderator is during Thursday's Vice Presidential debate. Her questions were pointed and specific, and she drew on her own knowledge and experience to challenge both candidates' on their responses.
Presidential debates make up the few rare opportunities Americans have to hear the candidates speak off the cuff about their past and future plans for the country. Ms. Raddatz has already proved her ability to keep the discussion focused and the pointless bickering to a minimum.
No disrespect to scheduled moderator Candy Crowley, but we say: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
