SAVE THE COMMUNITY CATS OF RIDGEFIELD

My fellow Ridgefield residents:

As many of you know, we have been lobbying to establish a "trap~neuter~return" program in our town for the past 3 years. Our goal was to humanely reduce and stabilize the free-roaming cat population, while improving their overall health by neutering and vaccinating. Cats will exist in our community, fixed or unfixed, vaccinated or not vaccinated, fed or unfed, etc. We currently are not permitted to return cats to where they came from after they are neutered. Nor are we permitted to provide food and water to them!!! This is CRUEL and INHUMANE!!!

WE * NEED * YOUR * HELP !!!

Please sign this petition to ask out Mayor and Council to make the following changes to the current ordinance:

1. Allow cats to be returned to where they came from after being neutered. Use relocation as an absolute last resort.

2. Allow community cats to be fed in designated areas in town following the TNR protocol.

Please support us by signing this petition and let us prove to you that TNR will benefit everyone, both feline and human!!!
