Adelaide Zoo: shame on you!

To supply ice cream for sale in its kiosks, Adelaide Zoo and the Monarto Zoo have decided to drop local ice cream company, Golden North, whose entire ice cream range is now PALM OIL FREE, and go with multinational-owned Streets ice cream instead, whose ice cream CONTAINS PALM OIL. This is WRONG!!

Tell the Adelaide Zoo and the Monarto Zoo to sell palm oil-free Golden North ice cream!

Golden North is a locally owned company that has gone to great lengths to make sure its products are palm oil free!

Unilever-owned Streets says its products will contain palm oil from sustainable sources but not until 2020. By deciding to sell Streets ice cream at their kiosks, Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Zoo are betraying their own conservation principles. Practise what you preach!

Please join me in urging Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Zoo to go with the sensible, environmentally-friendly, tasty, locally-owned option of Golden North ice cream!
