I, on behalf of all the medical aspirants of our country wants to bring in light a serious issue in regard of our country’s current medical scenario.
As you are aware every year a national level medical entrance exam ,namely, AIPMT is conducted for entry into various medical UG programmes. However, this year under the jurisdiction of Supreme court , a commendable modification was done to end multiplicity of examinations by scrapping every private or state govt. medical exam and bringing NEET, National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test into play for admittance into MBBS/BDS of all private or state govt. colleges across the country.
This year the format of exam went as follows:
NEET Phase 1 on dated , 01 MAY 2016.
NEET Phase 2 on dated , 24 July 2016.
It is to be noted that the exam which took place on 24th July saw a massive cheating feat in Haldwani district of Uttrakhand. As per the police officials and their respective investigation, it was found that the cheating was performed in various places of Uttrakhand. Later , a yet another cheating report came into light from Jaipur. In an official press release, SSP of Haldwani informed that there is a mass leaking and cheating racquet spread across 5 states of our country and NEET fall into an easy prey.
But unfortunately the investigation soon got ceased and our exam conducting authority, CBSE didn’t pay much heed to the above context.
Keeping in mind , the last year’s verdict over the similar situation where AIPMT 2015 was reconducted on account of finding massive cheating as directed by Supreme court, a petition was filed to seek further enquiry into the matter of paper leak in NEET Phase2.
An urgent plea was submitted in Supreme with writ petition 637/2016, titled Anshul Sharma v/s Union of India. The hearing took place on 10th August 2016, and to our shock, the union of judges denied to involve in any investigation or any kind of further assistance and stated they aren’t likely to be overloaded with such cases.
In our country, “The squeaky wheels gets the grease,” which means in order to get attention one has to be noticable enough.
So I request every person reading this or aware of any odd things related to this matter to come and sign this petition with me.
Let's believe, JUSTICE IS ON IT'S WAY!!
