Tony Franceschi, an El Molino alumnus and loved baseball coach at El Molino High School for the past 5 years was recently dismissed from his position as the El Molino varsity baseball coach. The reason for dismissal, as we understand it, is for checking in on his baseball kids at a party and offering to be called if anyone needed a ride home.
Mr. Franceschi has incredible passion, love, commitment and respect for the game of baseball as well as all of the players and kids of this community – both on and off the field. He has spent countless hours and money (his own!) supporting the kids and the baseball program.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens and represent the El Molino community. We feel this dismissal is unjustified and we want Mr. Franceschi back as our El Mo baseball coach. We urge the El Molino administration to reconsider and reverse their decision and we ask that Mr. Franceschi be reinstated to his rightful position of El Molino High School Varsity Baseball Coach immediately.
