As parents of students at the Baton Rouge Center for Visual and Performing Arts (BRCVPA) and members of the school's Parent Teacher Organization, we respectfully petition Mrs. Myra Jordan, principal of BRCVPA, to allow the PTO to hold officer elections in an open meeting before the end of the 2014-2015 school year as required by the bylaws. This will allow candidates to introduce themselves to PTO members and allow members to cast ballots in a fair and open election.
