Let Ryan Murphy Know You Don't Want Taylor Swift in Scream Queens

We all know it. Taylor Swift is an aspiring songstress who everyone loves. But would having her on the popular horror-comedy, Scream Queens, really be a good choice? Not really.

Why? Two reasons. One. She's too nice. Making Swift a mean girl would be like casting Emma Watson as the Wicked Witch of the West. It just doesn't work like that. Even the "good" characters on the show, such as Grace, have a bit of a darker side. And Taylor just doesn't match that description.

Two. Because we already know Taylor Swift as Taylor Swift. As seen in the first two episodes, there's a character named Deaf Taylor Swift, a fangirl of, well, Taylor herself. So from this, we are made aware that Taylor Swift does, in fact exist in the Scream Queens universe. Casting Swift as a character of anyone other than herself would just be too weird. Since we all know that she is the pop idol whom the world loves, it's just not possible to unsee that.

As much as we love Swift, mixing an uber-popular artist into a show where that uber-popular artist's name is already mentioned just wouldn't work. So, take a stand today, and let Ryan Murphy know that we'd rather keep our music stars and TV universes separate.
