If the Scots want independence why should we leave them use the Pound?

Scotland  vote to be indepenadnt, and that is not an issue, but their leader of the SMP is assuming that they can have unrestricted access to the Pound Sterling. If the Scots can have an vote on their independace, i belive we should have a vote on whether we will want them to have access to the Pound sterling.
