Petition for the "Drugged" Layton City Officer to be Investigated and put on Leave Without Pay

On August 8, 2016, a man named Tanis Lloyd Ukena was arrested for serrupticous administering of a substance. This occurred after Mr. Ukena took a Layton City Police officers order at the Subway where he worked. The officer took a few sips of his lemonade, and reported he felt drugged after having difficulty stopping at a red light. An on scene test reported that the lemonade had been spiked with amphetamines and THC. Mr. Ukena's name and face was shown all over both local and national news, inspiring threats and a horrible reputation. Two months later, he has been exhonorated as more tests show there was no evidence there were drugs in the lemonade. The officer who claimed he felt drugged should be held accountable for this innocent, god-loving boy's heartache in not being able to proceed with his mission plans, not being able to work, and receiving threats. This petition asks that there be an investigation on this officer, in which he is put on leave without pay. This case was unnacceptable, and it would be unwise/inappropriate to not investigate this officer, and let him continue working, no questions asked. If it is found the officer unlawfully accused this man, in any scenario, this petition also calls for the termination of said officer.
