Demand an end of the overgrowth of trees at the back of 17 to 21 Ashfield Avenue

The overgrowth behind 17-21 Ashfield Avenue has been left unattended for years, leading to damage of propery walls and further creating a habitat for rats and foxes.

The trees have not been pruned and the shrubs make the site look untidy and visibly messy.

The trees are behind the property so do not provide visual aesthetics to the public around this area. The trees are in our own privately owned land and therefore do not provide any access for public and hence are not beneficial.

We intend to remove all this overgrowth. This is important for the regeneration of the area behind 17-21 Ashfield Avenue. Adjacent neighbours can expect better light into their properties and a reduction in infectious diseases brought into the area by rats and other animals.

You should sign this petition if you feel:
1. The overgrowth is not providing any benefit to the area
2. If you agree that the overgrowth does not bring any visual benefit or benefit to the environment
3. You agree that there is an increase of potential infectious diseases due to increase of rats and foxes living amongst the trees, bushes and shrubs.
4. Your happy that there will be light entering your property as a result of the removal of these trees.
5. Your happy for the owners to replant trees at their own discretion using a landscape architect to ensure carbon footprint is maintained and offset.
