Bill 115 prevents teachers in Ontario from having a say in their contract and now they have a contract that many do not agree with. They are not even allowed to strike or do much about what is going on with their contracts.
Now with this new problem with their union, they have decided to stop all extra-curriculars in all the public schools, leaving all students with no school sports or organized groups. This is unfair to all the students because it is changing their school experience for the worse. They don't get to do the things they enjoy going to school for now. Some friends wouldn't connect like they would normally and students aren't getting the same amount of physical activity without sports.
This could all be stopped if the government would get rid of this bill and allow the teachers to have a fair say in what is going on with their contract and their lives. By signing this petition it will show the government just how opposed people are to what is going on in the public school system because of Bill 115. Thank you for taking your time to sign this.
