Voluntary survival shows such as The Island with Bear Grylls advocate the murder of wildlife to boost T.V ratings.

Whilst killing animals to eat in genuine survival situations is rational and necessary these show participants actively put themselves into drastic starvation situations which results in animals that normally would not come into contact with humans being hunted and killed. What difference is it from trophy hunting and blood sports.
