I'm a landscape professional and know that the toxic pesticide neonicotinoid is used on corn to increase yields (and I hate it). But I was shocked to read a little tag on a recent tropical plant purchase. The pesticide is the major cause of the disastrous killing off of our bee population. Rain cannot wash it off, because it's embedded in the seed itself and works systemically. Will you please sign this petition AND tell your local nurseries you will not buy plants from growers who use this chemical? Bell Nurseries supplied these Hybiscus plants and Home Depot sold them. It's probably just the tip of the iceberg. PLEASE SHARE THIS AS WIDELY AS YOU CAN. Thank you!
