Lewis buys a stupid amount of clothing which he rarely wears, much of it ends up on his bedroom floor, unwashed and creased. This is recognised as a form of clothing abuse. Additionally, most of the clothing that he buys is extremely similar to items that he already owns and does not wear. Moreover he is frequently sucked in by 'bargains' from stores such as T K Maxx, for example a shirt reduced from £250 to £50 - "what a great deal for an ill-fitting item". This addiction is excessive and I believe Lewis is really struggling with it.
