Since our invasion of Iraq acts of terrorism around the world have increased by over 100%. No number of troops can solve this problem.
But Senator Joesph Biden, along with Leslie Gelb, President Emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations, have proposed a five-point plan that would bring peace to region without deploying more U.S. troops.
The only way to hold Iraq together and create the conditions that allow our armed forces to responsibly withdraw is to give Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds incentives to pursue their interests peacefully and to forge a sustainable political settlement. To accomplish this, President Bush should endorse the Biden-Gelb five-point plan, which would:
Maintain a unified Iraq by decentralizing it in to regions. A central government would be left in charge of common interests.
Guarantee Sunnis a proportionate share of oil revenue so that each group has an incentive to maximize oil production, making oil the glue that binds the country together.
Create a massive jobs program while increasing reconstruction aid -- especially from the oil-rich Gulf states -- but tying it to the protection of minority rights.
Hold an international conference that would produce a regional nonaggression pact and create a Contact Group to enforce regional commitments.
Begin the phased redeployment of U.S. forces and withdraw most of them by the end of 2007.
This plan is consistent with Iraq's constitution and has been endorsed by many experts on Iraq. It will help rebuild the country while bringing our troops home.
TELL PRESIDENT BUSH TO SUPPORT SENATOR BIDEN'S FIVE-POINT PLAN FOR PEACE, NOT THE DEPLOYMENT OF MORE TROOPS TO IRAQ!
We signed the “Support the Peace Plan That Brings Iraq Troops Home!” petition!

The War on Terror is nothing but a scam dreamt up by the criminals in the White House, and it's time to put an end to the charade and bring our soldiers home, and stop spending their lives as currency to steal the resources belonging to foreign countries, sovereign nations where we hav e no legitimate reason for being. This mess in Iraq and the Middle East is the very reason that George Washington and other Founders recommended that we do not become "entangled" with foreign countries.

The "War on Terror" is a fraud! All the evidence indicates 9/11 was an INSIDE JOB used to justify the loss of our rights at home (via the "Patriot Act" which is anything but patriotic) and endless wars abroad. It is time for a real investigation of the "terror attack" of 9/11. The powers-that-be, including the pResident and VP, are nothing but evil war profiteers who are enriching themselves and their friends with the deaths of millions of innocents. Let's punish the real perpatrators of 9/11 (traitors!) instead of killing innocent people. Do some research and you will learn the truth. WAKE UP AMERICA, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

Four years and thousands of needless deaths is enough. We must put our troops where they will do the most good to protect the citizens of this country and Iraq is the wrong place.

Over 20,000 men and women have been injured during the Iraq war, they miss their legs, arms, eyesight, half of their brains and for what? Over 3,000 have died and for what? Peace for Iraq? Come on send our troops home!

We have spent enough time, lives, and dollars there, and I don't think, accomplished what we were going there for.

The American troops have been in Iraq for four years. They went in with inadequet protection. Why? Because nobody knew exactly what they were getting into. Our troops have been sitting ducks, it's been too long for them, it's time for them to come home intact and standing straight. Don't be stupid by sending more troops over there. They will only get picked off because they would be going in without adequet protection. THIS IS SO WRONG!

SENATOR BIDEN'S PLAN IS WELL BALANCED AND TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION THE REALITIES WHICH BUSH DOES NOT COMPREHEND, I WOULD OFFER ONE ADDENDUM TO SENATOR BIDEN'S PLAN. WHY NOT MOVE THE CAPITAL FROM BAHGDAD TO A ANOTHER MORE NEUTRAL, LESS VIOLENT, SO THE NEW GOVERNMENT CAN GET ON ITS FEET AND THAT WAYTHE COUNTRY CAN BE DIVIDED INTO SECTIONS AND THE GOVERNMENT COULD OPERATE AS ANCILLARY AJUNCT TO HANDLE MATTERS LIKE OIL REVENUES AND NATIONAL SECURITY.
I SUPPORT SENATOR BIDEN IN HIS EFFORTS AND INTEND TO VOTE FOR HIM IN 2008.
