With over 3.2 million baby boomers becoming eligible for Medicare by 2010, doctor payment cuts will create a medical care crisis for America’s seniors! Congress made a solemn promise to America's seniors to supply more affordable medical care, but now they’re limiting seniors’ access to doctors, making it harder for them to get the care they need. If we don't act soon, older Americans will have a harder time finding medical and surgical specialists, and have to travel farther to see them. More Medicare patients will be forced go to expensive emergency rooms - not a doctor’s office - for routine care. And doctors will not be able to purchase new medical equipment and information technology. Urge your Senators to make good on their promise to older adults by saying no to Medicare pay cuts.
We signed the “Baby Boomers Set to Lose Medicare Services! Sign the Letter to Congress” petition!

Health care for ALL should be a given in this country. Wy should ANYONE be forced to chose between food and medical care, or power and care? You don't have to make that choice so why should the people who VOTE for you and pay your (excellent!) health care benefits! When will Congress get the message? Why are we SO far behind the rest of the developed (and in some case behind the undeveloped) world? Would you want YOUR parents to have to go with out medication?

Elderly need medical sometimes more than others. This is NOT the time to cut back. Most elderly people are on a fixed income that barely allows them to survive as it is, and if you cut back on the medical and they have to take up the slack and pay for "out of pocket" for the full "OVERPRISED" cost of medical, prescriptions, etc.... it is a real crime. Stop this abuse and allow all to have the affordable coverage they need.

If you want to cut something, stop giving free medical care to illegals. It's just unbelievable to me that people can come here illeglly and get all of the social services and medical care they need, but citizens whose families have been here since prior to the Revolutionary War are getting spit on by our lawmakers!

If the doctor's wages get dropped NOBODY will treat these patients. Everyone deserves the right to live, and live healthy. Make good on your promise. This is not the time to wait and see what happens!

A society can only be judged by how they treat the weakest and most vulnerable among them. How will we be judged if we won't even take proper care of our own parents and elders?
