Baby Boomers Set to Lose Medicare Services! Sign the Letter to Congress
Target: U.S. CongressSponsored by: American Medical Association Patients' Action Netw
With over 3.2 million baby boomers becoming eligible for Medicare by 2010, doctor payment cuts will create a medical care crisis for America’s seniors! Congress made a solemn promise to America's seniors to supply more affordable medical care, but now they’re limiting seniors’ access to doctors, making it harder for them to get the care they need. If we don't act soon, older Americans will have a harder time finding medical and surgical specialists, and have to travel farther to see them. More Medicare patients will be forced go to expensive emergency rooms - not a doctor’s office - for routine care. And doctors will not be able to purchase new medical equipment and information technology. Urge your Senators to make good on their promise to older adults by saying no to Medicare pay cuts.

My mother is 73 and has numerous health problems. If she loses her medicare insurance, she will not be able to afford the care she is getting now. As it is Medicare, takes out about $100.00 a month now, plus her supplemental insurances to pay for what medicare don't pay for now, the amount for that is $200.00. She is barely able to make these payments but she does get a small break on her prescriptions.

Medicare monthly premiums are more than I ever spend on health care. Stop It!! At my age (70) I am "Unemployable" so why are you hindering my health care? Nations that do not take care of their elderly, are corrupt and evil. We spend more on young people NOT working, than we do helping the elderly. America, use your conscience.

Many years ago the goverment made the Indian Nations a promise and you see what happened there. We should'nt even be signing something like this!
