Demand Healthcare for Our Heroes

The men and women who fight for our freedom and safety should NOT have to fight to get the healthcare they deserve.
More than 20,000 brave soldiers have been injured while serving in the current "war on terror." Despite these sacrifices, Congress recently tried to slash the budget for the VA's traumatic brain injury care and research centers that so many of our wounded troops are depending on. Congress needs to know that anything short of fully funded healthcare and benefits for our veterans is unacceptable.
Our veterans have earned the right to high quality healthcare. Sign the Healthcare for Our Heroes Petition to demand that Congress hold up its end of the bargain and provide full funding for veterans' healthcare and benefits.

The members of our military forces (both in active service and as Veterans) more than deserve to get high quality healthcare. It should not even be in question or be debated upon. Our Veterans deserve our respect. We do not show respect by cutting their medical care. WE MUST LEAVE NO SOLDIER BEHIND. We cannot desert the men and women who have served to protect the U.S.A. They did not fail us in our time of need and we must not fail them.

What these men actually have had to endure and what they sacrificed might truely escape everyone else for most of them will not boost themselves with it but be glad to be out of it or still alive! Victims of war need all the (health-)care not only which they need but which is possible as well as certain compensations to make up for the terror they had to endure! It will NEVER be possible to give them compensation for that even if we wanted to do the best we can!
