Wealthy campaign contributors and their lobbyists wield too much power in our political system. The influence of these big-money interests is a major reason that we cannot find solutions or even have a reasonable debate about health care, jobs, global warming, and many other pressing issues.
If we want to put the power of our democracy fully back into the hands of all Americans, then we need to change the way that we finance elections from top to bottom.
Under a full public financing system -- such as those already in use in Maine, Arizona, and Connecticut, and the one proposed for Congress -- qualified candidates who swear off special interest money and agree to spending limits receive public funds to run a competitive campaign.
Help get the influence of big money out of politics by urging Congress to support the Fair Elections Now Act for full public financing of congressional elections.

We have been losing the battle since Bush and his cronies stole the election in Florida. It is so obvious that several world leaders are trying to steal the USA natural resources from the American people. This needs to be stopped before our enemies succed. The bums including Bush should be thrown out of the contry for failure to enforce and protect our constitution. Our founding fathers would have shot the whole bunch of them. They are turning in thier graves at the attrocities that these traitors have done. This country was formed by God. He will not let this go. An alternate definition of fascism is corporatism and that is what we have here. Big money fights everything we try to do to help people in this country. Witness the scandalous behavior of Pharma in the medicare Part D scam. Please do everything you can to get big money out of congress so congress can help develop a a government for and of the people once again. Right now it is a governement by the rich for the rich and of the rich. This is so wrong!

The American people have been short changed for too long as special interests control our legislative bodies. We need a new way to finance elections and we need campaign reform in other areas like instituting term limits. Congress is unfortunately out of touch with the lives of their constituents. Congress has sertainly insulated themselves from pension and health care systems that the majority of Americans must contend with. It's time that you start listening to the people. Isn't that the way government was intended?

What does it take to recognize that we as individual sovereigns have evolved consciously much quicker than our own political/(in)justice system in "America", in that we have fallen into shambles of systematic secular deceit, which while posing in the name of The United States defied the United Nations as much as it's own people and started a war after an illegal inauguration to the presidency; Bush. Does State Government need to remind the Federal Government of their soveriegnty? Or can we quit with the facade of Christianity in America and actually prove our Faith? Get God's money in order! Don't let capitalism infiltrate our political motivations that we can allow our children to know what true ethics and principles are, by being accountable to the "one and only" God; who gave us our Rights written into the Constitution of the United States.
